In August of 2022, 10-year-old Jameson Reeder Jr. was attacked by an aggressive, 9-foot bull shark while snorkeling in the Florida Keys. The shark tore apart Jameson Jr.'s lower right leg which, after four surgeries in three weeks, needed to be amputated.
