On my bed at night I sought the one I love; I sought him, but did not find him. — Song of Solomon 3:1God's hiddenness is not abandonment; it is a loving invitation to hunger more deeply for His presence. The trials of spiritual dryness and waiting are tools He uses to wean us from self-reliance and anchor us in His unchanging faithfulness. Our part is not to manufacture feelings but to persist in seeking, trusting that the same God who calls us to return also promises to be found when we seek Him with our whole heart.
