Eventful Events

Middle Aged Gaming 2020's the Game Show: Eventful Events There's so much to do during the holiday season, and we're not just talking about the real world. Many games have their own events that to keep you coming back for more. Today, we'll check out some of our favorites. Crian's Picks The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Skyrim has remained one of the most beloved games of all time for a reason. There's just so much happening and so much to do. And just like real life, you're going to come across several milestones that mark your journey. With everything from buying a home, to getting married, having kids, joining a murder cult, or slaying a dragon, it's pretty much as close to real life as you can get in a game. Warhammer: Dawn of War II For the Emperor! Dawn of war takes the age old RTS formula and gives it an RPG makeover. It really allows you to bond with your squad and ride the emotional ups and downs with your characters. This game is great for people who love the battle aspects of RTS's but aren't terribly fond of the base building. Life is Strange I could have sworn we talked about this game before. Anyway, déjà vu is the name of the game when you can rewind time. Help Max work her way through life and all those teenage moments. Will being able to undo your mistakes make life better, or just more complicated? Adam's Picks Monster Rancher A golden oldie dating back to the original PlayStation, Monster Rancher sees you running your own ranch of powerful beasts for, you guessed it, battle. With literally thousands of monster combinations, there's plenty to do on this farm. Monster Hunter World Ever wonder what it'd be like to take on a T-Rex with a sword as big as you are? Well wonder know more because that's exactly what Monster Hunter World is all about. Choose from a variety of weapons, team up with a group of friends or randoms, and take out some of the nastiest beasts this side of the Triassic. Final Fantasy XIV MMOs have always made the most of the holidays with special events and Final Fantasy XIV is no slouch. Covering everything from Christmas to the Cherry Blossom Festival, you'll have plenty to do all year long. And best of all, as a reward you'll be able to show off to all your in game friends... who have likely acquired them too.
