Today, Cooper describes the spiritual significance of recent historical events concerning the Assyrian people and their traditional homeland. The Islamic State of Iraq and Levant (ISIL) had a far more significant agenda than most Western Christians think. Just as one can see Satanic opposition to God's agenda in many historically significant events in the Bible that at first glance did not have explicit reference to Satan. The book of Esther, Isil's attempt to drive out the Assyrian Christians from their traditional homeland, has more to do with God's eschatological promise than many might know.
