Smile At The Small Victories… With animation being SCAD’s most popular major by enrollment, today we bring you one of the medium’s hardest working creators: Everett Downing Jr. He was the distinguished honoree of the 2021 SCAD AnimationFest and an industry staple who’s taken on every role from storyboarder to animator to director to producer. He and Paula Wallace connected following his festival experience to reflect on career highlights like “Hair Love” and “We The People,” how he adapts to his varying roles, and his success in pitching “My Dad the Bounty Hunter” to Netflix.
