Isa 9:6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. (NIV) John 1:1-3 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. (NIV) Colossians 1:16–17 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. 17  He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. (NIV) John 17:5 And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began. (NIV) John 8:58   “Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!” (NIV) Revelation 1:8   “I am the Alpha and the Omega—the beginning and the end,” says the Lord God. “I am the one who is, who always was, and who is still to come—the Almighty One.” (NLT) 4 Reasons Jesus Is A Good Good Everlasting Father 1. Jesus cares about you Luke 12:6–7 Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. 7  Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows. (NIV) 1 Peter 5:7 Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you. (NLT) 2. Jesus loves you Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (NIV) Romans 8:38–39 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39  neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (NIV) 3. Jesus disciplines you Proverbs 3:11–12   My child, don’t reject the LORD’s discipline, and don’t be upset when he corrects you. 12  For the LORD corrects those he loves, just as a father corrects a child in whom he delights. (NLT) 4. Jesus provides for you Matthew 7:11   If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! (NIV) John 3:16   For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (NIV)
