Huffard is Professor Emeritus of leadership and missions at Harding School of Theology, where he taught for 32 years. He also served as VP/Dean for 15 years. He currently equips emerging church leaders and is a consultant for church leaders as one of the partners in Hope Network Ministries. Evertt has extensive life experience in the Middle East beginning when he was a teenager when his parents moved to Jerusalem, Jordan in 1963. There he attended an Arab High School on the West Bank. He also has urban ministry experience in Los Angeles and Memphis. He lectures on leadership, missions, biblical archaeology, and the Muslim-Christian encounter.Evertt and his wife Ileene have hosted over 40 Bible land tour groups to Italy, Greece, Turkey, Jordan, Israel, and Egypt. They have three children and ten grandchildren. His latest publication is The Honor of God: More about Character than Reputation or the Radiance of Glory (Westbow Press, 2026).
