The first day of the rest of my life is about to happen, in T minus 5 days to be exact! But for 1 person every 5 minutes and 16 seconds in England and Wales, a new 'first day of the rest of their life' is happening. Debt - so many of us are in it, yet we react with such bizarre horror when we find out others are in our shoes. Why is that?
