Every Blessed Breath

from The AJNashville Podcast · host Alex Jimenez

Many people see summer as a season of relaxation and fun, which is well deserved for all the hard work put in throughout the year and an opportune time to celebrate wins with our children while they are on summer break from school. It should still not be overlooked as a chance to evaluate how you are doing with goals you've set for yourself for the year as you reach the halfway mark. Are you still tracking metrics like you did when you first set your goal? Have you achieved some accomplishments early and ready to take on new tasks? Are you falling behind on others and need to recalibrate your actions in order to see the goal delivered? Has life changed so drastically that the goal is no longer even desired to be met?We associate success in life too often to an amount of money we can produce. What about the things money can't buy though? The quality of life spent with the time we are given each moment of every day. We are blessed with every breath we take on this Earth, and we take it all for granted that it will all be taken away just as quickly in one short breath. We have to make each breath, each action, something we feel satisfaction from that we did our very best in that moment to contribute to our own success and happiness. Whatever we are aiming for, we can do it when we are ready to give it all we've got. Our goals change, our roles evolve, seasons come and they go in our lives. All we can do is claim our time as our own by doing what we promised ourselves we would do and create a life we love to live in. Every breath is a chance for you to be your very best version of you.
