"Every Marriage is...Flawed"; Chapter 2: Myth of the Perfect Family

Myth of the Perfect FamilyLet me tell you a story of a family I knew growing up.  We’ll just call them the ‘Perfects’.  Growing up, the Perfects were awesome.  They were so much fun!  They were the ‘IT’ family.  Everyone wanted to hang with them.  They were a model family in our church.  We would take family vacations together.  They were so charismatic.  They were beautiful.  I never saw them fight.  I truly believed they were the perfect family.  Overall, we made one big family with several other families from church and past small groups.  I loved the Perfects.  I considered them the ‘Gold Standard’.
