Everyday City Living: Supermarkets in Upper Manhattan

from Harlem Stories - Upper Manhattan Neighborhoods · host Your Host: Adam Feinberg - Elegran Real Estate

The episode was recorded earlier this year, so there has been some small updates worth mentioning. Lidl on Frederick Douglass Blvd opened in February and has been a popular addition to the neighborhood- and to the city. Lincoln Market a few blocks north will be opening in about a month. It looks like a new tower will be rising on Amsterdam Avenue around 131st St – with a supermarket at the ground floor- replacing the previous supermarket that had burned town. Finally, at the end of the summer Food Bazaar just opened on 3rd Avenue and 125th Street, which helps the neighborhood a lot since the closing of Pathmark many years ago.
