There is a clear warning of harship to come because of this sin that had corrupted their ways. But the story it never over, as we learned from other prophets. Our God who is great in mercy, shows His compassion upon the repentant heart. His kindess and mercy is our motivation to live a life in accordance to His will and purpose.
