EVERYONE HAS RELIGION!

Everyone has within their world view a sense of ethics, morality, and values and things that they deeply believe in.  These things become part of the individual and are often expressed as personal rituals, which determine who we are. The Bible teaches "For as he thinks within himself, so he is"... Again, mirroring what The Lord Jesus said about sin as well as love coming from within us -- our inward parts. (OUR HEART AND MIND) Unfortunately, when we construct all of that unwisely or center our life's total importance on the wrong thing or things, it can be a violation of the 2nd Commandment of God: Idolatry. So if we're idolaters because we're putting all our dependency in the wrong place, we can be worshippers of MANY false gods.  Self reliance, money, our children, our success, politics, sports, entertainment, leisure, work and labor, lusts, etc. There are many false gods we might be worshipping and not even know it.
