About Mezza Morta Mezza Morta is a horror comedy web series that reflects the state of the Internet (and America) today. Mezza Morta is a Frankenstein-like monster created by two Russian scientists in an attempt to infiltrate YouTube and influence the American public. She is a (literal) hodgepodge of YouTube celebrities molded together into one abomination. Jo Anna Van Thuyne, an actor, comedian, and filmmaker has worked in the film industry for over a decade. She's worked as a producer in the Philadelphia area helping to create a number of projects throughout the years. She is ready to take the wheel and pursue her passion for writing and directing. With $25,000 Jo can make Mezza Morta the kick ass web series she knows it can be. Mezza Morta is a reaction to these stressful times. It's a representation of sexism in every industry.
