Everything Is Normal

"Everything Is Normal" Send it back, I think we're under attack No need to spend ourselves into the widening gap Inflation's back, it's ratcheting up so fast Embrace the change as we fall down in class The solemn feel as our systems shut down Rapid aging and infection abound Distracted, stuck in a game we can't see As friends and family play the death lottery Knock one back, pound another right down Another high to drown out the sound of our lives Changing right before our eyes with no say Shut off ours minds and pretend it's okay Everything is normal The black mirror is a program to sin It turns us inward, self-centered within Indoctrination, let's start 'em off young Sacrifice to the screen to be lost in consumption Follow the herd, get in line to save Earth Wonder how to play your part, what to do Subtle messages not to give birth Never realize they're getting rid of you Just keep on spending, UBI never stop Quit your job, join the weaponized mob Play with death, keep your boosters topped off And do your part to force your friends toward the shots Knock one back, pound another right down Another high to drown out the sound of our lives Changing right before our eyes with no say Shut off our minds and pretend it's okay Everything is normal
