Everything Within Our Power — Parklane girls basketball coach Vicki Rutland, asst. coach Tammy Gillihan, and Lady Pioneers Sydney Brewer, Zoe Alford and Carlyle Carruth, live at The Fit Life Sportsplex in McComb

On the last Wednesday night in January, The Corner Blitz crew talks to the 18-4 Parklane Lady Pioneers basketball team, who have already secured the No. 1 seed in their district and host the MAIS 5A South State Tournament next week. Head coach Vicki Rutland joins us, with assistant coach Tammy Gillihan and Lady Pioneers Sydney Brewer (SR), Zoe Alford (JR) and Carlyle Carruth (FR). Brad and Adam also give a wink and a nod to the NFL's marketing genius through girls' flag football, speculate on the NFL's officiating genius with regard to Kansas City miracles, and bemoan the New Orleans Saints' lack of genius when it comes to the salary cap. Manuel Scott has photography skills. Andrew Nations provides the sounds. The Corner Blitz is a product of Southwest Media Group.
