None of this was enough for Weinstein, & he spent day in, day out, preying on & attacking young actresses who were meeting with him to try to& get their big break in Hollywood. Weinstein had a lot of help to continue his disgusting crimes, & to cover them up for decades, he was almost untouchable. Only because of some brave women who were survivors of Weinstein & some brave journalists was the truth about Weinstein finally revealed & he was finally unmasked as a monster. One aspect of Weinstein’s history that is almost never discussed in recent years is his Oscars campaign, & how he used his fame, Oscar nominations & wins to lure in scores of young actresses. So that’s what we’re discussing today, Harvey Weinstein and his  long history of lies, bullying, manipulation & bribery to secure constant award show nominations and wins for his films, and himself, in order to dangle a career as a Best Actress Oscar winner at the women he preyed on.
