Evict the Stronghold: It's Not Therapy—It's War

from God Loves Small Talk · host Pastor Savoie

2 Corinthians 10:4-5 says, "The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds…" That means we don't fight mental battles with effort—we fight them with divine demolition. You ever feel like something's holding you back, but you can't name it? That's not random. That's a stronghold. A mindset squatting in your spirit. It lives in the background of your thoughts, quietly limiting what God can do through you. And if you don't take it captive—it'll take you captive. You don't get free by negotiating with lies. You get free by confronting them. This isn't therapy. This is warfare. Paul knew this battle well. He didn't say, "take every demon captive." He said take every thought captive. The enemy doesn't have to destroy your calling—he just needs to convince you you're disqualified from it. And many of you are being haunted by voices God never authorized. There's no neutral thought life. You're either agreeing with God's will—or entertaining what's against it. If you feed fear, self-hate, defeat, or procrastination—you're cooking a full meal for a squatter who refuses to leave. Today, you evict it. Call it out. Say: "This thought does not align with God's Word. I cast it down. I obey truth. I refuse the lie." Don't just rebuke it—replace it. Declare what God says. Every time a wrong thought rises, speak God's Word louder. And if you're serious about breaking free from mental warfare, join our Patreon for deeper training. We don't host lies. We demolish them. This is eviction. Not therapy. And you're finally free to move.
