EVIL DEAD (2013) Movie Reaction! | First Time Watch! | Jane Levy | Shiloh Fernandez | Fede Álvarez

Michael, Achara & Alli return to the cabin with Evil Dead (2013), revisiting the franchise through its brutal reimagining after completing Sam Raimi’s original trilogy. Following a group of friends who travel to a remote cabin to help Mia overcome her drug addiction, the nightmare begins when an ancient book unleashes a relentless demonic force that pushes them to their limits. This reaction stands out as Michael, Achara & Alli compare the remake to the original films, experiencing its intense horror, gruesome practical effects, and terrifying new take on the Evil Dead legacy in real time. Directed by Fede Álvarez (Don’t Breathe, Alien: Romulus, The Girl in the Spider’s Web, Calls, Evil Dead), the film stars Jane Levy (Don’t Breathe, Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist, Castle Rock, Suburgatory, Office Uprising), Shiloh Fernandez (Red Riding Hood, Deadgirl, United States of Tara, Jericho, We Are Your Friends), Lou Taylor Pucci (Spring, Thumbsucker, You, Physical, Horsemen), Jessica Lucas (Cloverfield, Gotham, Pompeii, Cult, The Covenant), and Elizabeth Blackmore (The Vampire Diaries, Supernatural, Legends of Tomorrow, Australian television dramas, Evil Dead), bringing together a cast for one of the most acclaimed horror remakes of the 2010s, honoring the original while forging its own terrifying identity. ___________________________________________________ We've got merch!
