EVIL DEAD RISE (2023) Movie Reaction! | First Time Watch! | Alyssa Sutherland | Lily Sullivan

Michael, Achara & Alli continue their journey through the Evil Dead franchise with Evil Dead Rise (2023), the terrifying fifth installment that moves the horror from an isolated cabin to a Los Angeles apartment building. When two sisters are reunited under the worst possible circumstances, the discovery of the Necronomicon unleashes a terrifying demonic force that turns their family reunion into a relentless fight for survival. Having already experienced Sam Raimi’s original trilogy and the 2013 remake, this reaction captures the trio seeing how the franchise evolves while still delivering the brutal horror, dark humor, and Deadite chaos that made Evil Dead a horror icon. Directed by Lee Cronin (The Hole in the Ground, Ghost Train, Evil Dead Rise), the film stars Lily Sullivan (Monolith, Picnic at Hanging Rock, I Met a Girl, Barkskins, Evil Dead Rise), Alyssa Sutherland (Vikings, The Devil Wears Prada, Don’t Look Up, Evil Dead Rise, New Amsterdam), Morgan Davies (Storm Boy, The End, The Girlfriend Experience, Evil Dead Rise, One Perfect Day), Gabrielle Echols (Reminiscence, Evil Dead Rise), and Nell Fisher (Northspur, Bookworm, Evil Dead Rise), with producer Sam Raimi and executive producer Bruce Campbell helping continue the legacy of one of horror’s most beloved franchises. ___________________________________________________ We've got merch!
