Evil Elizabeth Brownrigg - The Monster Midwife of Fleet Street

In the 1700’s it was very easy to socially scam your way into a living. Certain local parish schemes set up to supposedly mutually benefit those in need and those who could offer an apprenticeship, could easily be abused.
