Examine Your Filters with Gary Homann, PhD

from Glocal News in Social Artistry · host Dick Dalton

Dr. Homann seemed to pick graduate schools for his Masters and PhD in beautiful parts of the country. Positive Psychology was his thing even before it officially came into being. Health Psychology was his foundation and Freud is not his favorite. Gary stays in tip-top shape and several years back trained on a stationary rowing machine and set a world record. Education and training are two very different things to him. In his teaching he uses techniques to bring that point home. We also talk about why people see the same information differently. ★ Support this podcast on Patreon ★

Gary is a Psychology professor at Lincoln University of Missouri and lives with his family in Columbia. He decided to change majors his freshman year because, at the book store, he realized he was always drawn to the Psychology Section. We pick it up from there.
