Excellence Not Perfection

from The Women's Fittest Podcast · host Debra Jean Terpstra

Send us Fan MailThanks for listening to another episode of the Women’s Maximum Fitness Podcast! In this heartfelt and intimate episode I talk about the latest treatments (not surgery) available to me for knee and shoulder injuries. I provide a brief overview on my past of eating disorders  and some recent discoveries in therapy on how to combat emotional eating, which cropped up rather heartily for me during quarantine. I talk about mental health and my current ongoing experience with counseling. I also talk about antidepressants and what made me decide to stop using them once again. (The laundry list of side-effects was astounding when I added it up.). This is my life, as real as it gets, and I share from my soul in hopes of connecting with and helping any of you struggling with any particular chronic unsavory behavior and or depression or pain.  My strength comes from my weakness. These are solutions that are helping  me fix my broken parts inside out. Broken crayons do still color but I want work at being as whole as possible!
