You don't owe anybody shit. You don't have to feel obligated to apologize or explain yourself to others. You don't need to validate your existence to people around you. You aren't liable to provide to them any reasoning they may be seeking for themselves... You do owe your loved ones the respect you would like shown to you though. You should want to fulfill a common courtesy between your relationships that matter most to you. You ought to be willing to provide those explanations and be able to say sorry when you feel they do deserve that compassion from you. You can hold boundaries with people healthfully and gain their trust still. If they have a problem with that, well, then, THEY have a problem with that, not YOU. Their justifications for immediate attention are not your responsibility to REACT to. You have to choose your own MOOD for the day wisely based on how you want it to go rather than how you FEEL it is going based on others. We give too much to too many. We let them have too much POWER over our lives. We should allow others to influence us only in positive ways we want as premium fuel for our minds. We need to stop making it a priority to owing everybody an explanation. Not just because THEY want it, but because WE feel they deserve to hear it, because we care about each other enough mutually to respond accordingly.You deserve to leave the phone on the wall if you are living a life you love living instead. Be honest with yourself, be true to others.
