Excuses can never be a crime.

A man used to come to the office late every day. One day his boss called him and asked, “Why are you late again today?” The man said very confidently, “Sir, my watch is broken.” The boss smiled and said, “The watch is broken, okay. But was the same watch broken yesterday, the day after tomorrow, and the day before that?” The man lowered his head and remained silent. Then the boss said, “You have to be successful not by using excuses for time, but by respecting time.” From that day on, the man understood that changing habits is not the real solution for being late.
