Executive Director of the Raleigh Convention and Performing Arts Complex Kerry Painter discusses the convention center getting a new name

The Raleigh Convention Center officially has a new name. The 16-year-old building will now be called the Atlantic Union Bank Convention Center after a ceremony on Thursday morning. The change comes as part of a 15-year naming rights agreement that places the bank's name on the downtown Raleigh venue. Kerry Painter, executive director of the Raleigh Convention and Performing Arts Complex, joined Jeff Hamlin to discuss the changes.
