Exile Island Episode 7

from Survivor Fans Podcast

Welcome Back Survivor Fans, We're back from the 3 week hiatus and we've got a contest for you! There are 5 Survivor trivia questions in tonight's podcast. The first two listeners that respond with the correct answers will win copies of Todd Lerners new CD, if right now played guitar. We've really enjoyed playing Todd's music this season and he graciously donated some CDs to the show that we want to pass on to a couple of lucky winners that know Survivor trivia. Let's talk about tonight's show for minute now. Was anyone else left a little confused and dissappointed? We were expecting to see a reward challenge that included a helicopter ride, a challenge involving rope cutting, and someone having to leave due to a medical emergency. Instead we got a single immunity challenge and a predictable "Us vs Them" vote down tribal lines while watching the despondent La Mina tribe self destruct. It's great to have Survivor back, but that was kind of a bummer with no apparent end to Casaya's arrogant domination. Here's the new Gitanos tribe after episode 7: Aras, Austin, Bruce, Cirie, Courtney, Danielle, Sally, Shane, and Terry Names in italics indicate a member of the pre-merge La Mina tribe We want to hear what you thought about this episode. Was there anything significant that we missed in tonight's podcast recap and analysis? What do you think Terry's best option was? What would you have done if you had the idol and had won individual immunity? Do you think he would have been able to work a better deal if he had given Nick the immunity idol tonight to get rid of Shane? Is it asking too much to think someone might plan two moves ahead instead of just one? We want to hear from you! :) Let us know who you think will get voted off next and if you think Terry will actually give the hidden immunity idol to someone else in the next episode. We've got several ways you can join in and participate. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). You can record an audio comment and send it to us via email at [email protected]. With either of those options, we can include your audio directly into the special Listener Feedback shows. You can also send us your input in an email, and we'll read it into the show when we record. Lastly, there's a link for comments on the web page here. You can click that link and post your thoughts out there for everyone to see. The intro music this week is dedicated to little man Bruce. He had both tribes nervous trying to figure out which way he might vote. The outro music is dedicated to the rapidly shrinking La Mina tribe. A few more episodes and they'll all be jury members. Here's a link to the artists in case you want to learn more about them. Making me Nervous by Brad Sucks When Did You Get So Small? by Todd Lerner Show Notes 00:03 Date for iPod Shuffle Users 00:08 Intro Music: Making me Nervous by Brad Sucks 01:00 Introductions 02:56 Post Tribal Council 07:08 Merge! 12:07 Immunity Challenge 15:42 Tribal Council 20:56 Next on Survivor 29:18 Our picks for next to go 30:25 CD Giveaway Trivia Questions 33:48 Requesting Listener Feedback 37:33 Outro Music: When Did You Get So Small? by Todd Lerner Links for Today's Show Survivor Exile Island Survivor Guatemala Survivor Palau Survivor Vanuatu Survivor All-Stars Survivor Pearl Islands Survivor Amazon Survivor Thailand Survivor Marquesas Survivor Africa Survivor The Australian Outback Survivor Palau Tiga podsafe music network Contact Info: Voicemail: 206-350-JASS(5277) Email: [email protected] Gizmo: Enjoy, Jo Ann and Stacy
