Exile to Eternity

The second half of Isaiah is overflowing with hope, encouragement, and breathtaking promises. God assures His people that He will one day deliver them from the coming Babylonian captivity, even as He lovingly calls them to return to Him with all their hearts. But Isaiah’s vision reaches far beyond Israel’s immediate future. He points to a day they could scarcely imagine—a coming Messiah who would bear the sins of the world and bring salvation to all who trust in Him. God’s heart has always been for the nations, and His plan of restoration culminates in a glorious future when people from every tribe, tongue, and nation will gather to worship before His throne.
