Exiles Act 1

In which a warm June afternoon in a Dublin drawingroom sets the stage for conversations steeped in old friendships, literary ambitions, and complicated affections, as Richard Rowan, Beatrice Justice, Robert Hand, and Bertha navigate the fragile ties that bind them. Between whispered pasts and quiet yearnings, the characters ponder fidelity, freedom, and the subtle pains held in giving oneself wholly, while a young boy’s innocent curiosity provides a gentle counterpoint to the grown-up entanglements.
