Exodus 1 & 2

In Exodus 1 & 2, the 2nd generation of Israelites are multiplying in spite of the fierce oppression they are facing daily. Fear sets into the King of Egypt and orders the midwives to kill any newborn boys. The midwives will not. They fear God more than man and are blessed in their own personal lives because of it. Moses is born and his mom places him in a basket in the river with hopes he'll be able to live. The princess happens upon him, her heart melts, and he is adopted. When Moses grows up, his first act is a rescue but he also ends up murdering someone in the rescue. Pharaoh hears, he tries to kill Moses so Moses flees for his life. He comes across 7 daughters of a priest who are being harassed by some shepherds. He again rescues this time but thankfully no one is killed this time. God sees that it is time to move and He might just have the perfect man in mind for the rescue mission.
