Exodus - 39 part 2 - Exod. 14:4-12 - Do you know the Lord?

In part 2 of lesson 39 we return to Exod. 14 and study Pharaoh’s heart, God’s glory, and how to “know” the Lord.  We read the Bible in English and we read the words heart, glory, and the phrase “to know.”  If we stay in the English we miss so much as to the actual Hebrew.  God wants all Egyptians "to know" Him and it connects us to Jesus when He said ...   "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. "Many will say to Me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?' "And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.'  (Mat 7:21-23)   Jesus, God, is saying the same thing to us.  He wants not just for us to believe in Him but to know Him.  But, what does it mean?  What did it mean in Exod. 14?  What did Jesus mean?  He is God and He doesn't change as in Mal. 3:6.  So, we need to grasp what God wants when He say He wants all Egypt, all Israel, and all nations to KNOW Him.
