**What happens when the things we trust in fail us?**In Exodus 8, Egypt is overrun with frogs as Pharaoh continues to resist God’s command to let His people go. But this strange plague is about more than frogs—it is a direct confrontation between the one true God and the false gods of Egypt.As the frogs invade every part of Egyptian life, God exposes the weakness of what Egypt trusted in and reveals His unmatched authority. And yet, even after experiencing God’s power firsthand, Pharaoh continues to harden his heart.This week, we’ll see how God exposes the things we put our trust in, why counterfeit power always falls short, and the danger of recognizing God’s authority without actually surrendering to Him.Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, our sermon ran longer than usual.
