Exodus - Week 1: Choosing Life in the Shadow of Empire

Hey! I'd love to hear your thoughts, send me a voice note.We don't know Pharaoh's name in Exodus 1 — but we know the names of Shiphrah and Puah, the two midwives who defied a genocidal order and chose life. Kicking off a brand-new series through the book of Exodus, Tara explores what it looks like to live with heroic, quiet faith in compromised territory: fearing God over fearing power, and choosing to bring life into every room instead of death. It's the origin story of the Bible's most-referenced event — the one that shapes Israel's identity, echoes through Jesus' own story, and still asks each of us where our loyalties really lie.
