Exodus: When Obedience Makes Life Harder

When following God makes life harder, will you keep trusting Him even before you see the outcome?In Exodus 5, Moses and Aaron do exactly what God called them to do. But Pharaoh refuses to listen, the Israelites’ suffering increases, and Moses is left wondering what went wrong. Sometimes obedience doesn’t bring immediate relief. Sometimes following God leads us straight into resistance, disappointment, and circumstances we never expected.This week, we’ll see that difficult circumstances don’t necessarily mean we’ve missed God’s will.
