Exonerated: Lee Harris, Spent Over 33 Years Behind Bars For A Crime He Did Not Commit

Exoneree, Lee Harris spent over 33 years behind bars for a murder he did not commit in 1992 in Chicago. Mr. Harris was friends with police officers who manipulated Lee to become an informant. The police fed Lee to make statements on the crime and his story changed as the investigation moved along. When the police couldn’t charge who they believed committed the crime, they turned on Lee.
