Expansive Forms with Liam Warr

from Concerning The Spiritual In Art · host Martin Benson

In this episode I speak with artist and illustrator Liam Warr.  Liam grew up in Salisbury, England near the powerful ancient site of Stonehenge. We talked about his upbringing in such mysterious and magical place and how that impacted him. We also talked about his transition from being a photographer to a digital artist. Liam also shared with me about his beautiful breathing practices he does through a drawing process he developed. We discussed the power of balancing the digital with the analog and how we can better bridge these two mediums to create more interesting and unique works of art. Liam also shared a lot about his process for making his iconic and powerful digital artworks.   ------------------------ Liam Warr is a geometric abstract artist originally from the UK and now based in Toronto. His artwork is diverse, ranging from bold geometric shapes to abstract landscapes, kaleidoscopic patterns, and little planets. He loves to play with color and texture, often incorporating grain and glitch effects into his pieces. https://www.liam-warr.com/ -------------------- See More from Martin Benson *To stay up on releases and content surrounding the show check out my instagram *To contribute to the creation of this show, along with access to other exclusive content, consider joining my Patreon!
