Expect the unexpected with James Thomas EP#6

from Grow with Grief Hosted by Katrina

In this conversation, James Thomas, the Founder and Managing Director of Feel the Magic, shares what it was like for him to become an orphan in his 20's. Together, we talk about how grief can be a catalyst for change, the importance of community and how his grief provided space for an idea that has now blossomed and provides important support for grieving children and teens all over Australia. James is an early intervention advocate for grieving Australian children and teens, supporting their overall mental health and emotional well-being. In 2013, James along with his wife Kristy founded Feel the Magic with three key objectives, provide a safe place for children and teens to grieve, provide the tools needed to heal and create ‘MAGIC’ through the power of connection. James is a proud Dad to two little boys, Madden and Chase. If you, or anyone you care for is in need of support, please reach out to your local support line or if you are in Australia, you can contact Griefline by phone on 1300 845745 who are available from midday to 3am everyday.
