Expecting. Something all of us are dealing with at some level in our lives. Expecting this relationship will turn out better than the last one. Expecting this job will advance my career. Expecting my kids will turn out better than I did. Expecting God to do something great in my life. I was expecting this year to be different. But what if what we are expecting is different from what God is expecting for our lives? Have you ever felt the tension of expecting our lives to look one way but God is doing something completely different? In this series, we are discussing different examples from the Bible of people expecting one thing, but God doing something much greater than they (and we) could have ever expected!
