It can be easy to assume we know why people leave our lives or don't treat us well. We must not be worthy, desirable, important, or intriguing enough to hold their attention and affections. Yet the truth is that people often reject or discard things that require more effort than they're willing to give and has nothing to do with us personally. Other than the fact that we may be too awesome to handle.
