Experiencing Hope in Pain

All of us have experienced something that has shook us, broke us, changed us, or depleted us of the hope, the joy, and the peace we all desire to have in our lives. A diagnosis from my doctor, the death of my spouse or family member, broken trust in a relationship, a setback in my career, the illness of my child, the day I got that phone call, a choice my adult children made, when my parents made that decision, the addiction I’ve struggled with for years.
