Experiencing Jesus Through the Word

The enemy doesn’t want you to experience Jesus through His Word, because the more you read Scripture, the more clearly you see God at work in your life. His Word becomes alive in your heart, and as you meditate on it, He fills you with a peace that surpasses understanding—even in the middle of trials (Isaiah 26:3).Just like life experiences teach us what to look for in people and situations, experiencing Jesus through the Word gives us spiritual indicators to recognize truth from lies. God’s Word is alive and active, sharpening our discernment and guiding our steps (Hebrews 4:12).
