EXPERIMENTAL RADIO

Make a better world... SHARE✓ and REPOST✓ the Media You LIKE✓ Experimental Radio is an effort at using the amazing, yet still limited, caustic music app to create a primitive "q-sound" affect. The easiest way to explain is, in a mixer or app that allows you to bounce one track, with preferably one voice, say a single tom hit, onto 5 tracks. One track is panned hard left, the next quarter, a mid pan, then quarter right and hard right. You put a delay of say between 125 ms on one, then 250 on the other, etc... or at least I've done similar, though the exact numbers and positions I settled on I of course don't remember, and the caustic is something were I was not able to do this exact type of setup, which made the challenge more enticing. I had to use only my ears given the caustic weakness in multi-tracking in the way I mentioned. I hope this gives a good idea of how I am trying to create a 4 dimensional space and also the illusion that one of the voices on "experimental radio" sounds like it is coming from a place other than your speakers? Or at least I hope so? That is what my aim was, as well as to create a pleasant and chill piece of ambience :).
