Expert: Military pressure alone not the answer

Col (res.) Itamar Yaar, head of Commanders for Israel's Security and a former deputy head of the National Security Council, says military pressure alone will not achieve an agreement and lead only to more casualties on both sides. He told KAN reporter Naomi Segal that in his view the government – primarily the prime minister – is not acting in the Israeli interests, and Israel is already feeling the detrimental effects of international isolation.
