Explanation of al-Aqidah al-Wasitiyya – Lesson 58

Lesson 58:Belief in the Divine Decree comprises two categories and each category consists of two matters: The first category is to believe that Allah, Most High, knows what the creation will do. He knows this with His pre-eternal knowledge which He has been described with, unceasingly and unendingly. He knows all their states: when they are obedient and disobedient, all their provisions and their life spans. Then Allah wrote the decrees of all creation in the Preserved Tablet. The first thing Allah created was the Pen and He said to it: 'Write! It said: 'What should I write?'
