Explanation of al-Aqidah al-Wasitiyya – Lesson 67

Lesson 67:They accept what the Qur'an, the Sunnah, and the consensus mention of their virtues and rankings. As such they give precedence to those who spent (in charity) and fought before the Conquest, which is the treaty of Hudaybiyah, over those who spent and fought after it. They also place the Muhajiroon before the Ansaar. They believe that Allah said to the people of Badr who numbered more than three hundred: Do whatever you wish, for I have forgiven you. They believe that no one who pledged allegiance under the tree will enter the Fire as mentioned by the Prophet; indeed (they believe) that Allah was pleased with them and they with Him; and they numbered more than one thousand four hundred people.
