Glen Rose is located about 90 minutes south of Plano, Texas or even less time if you are heading there from Dallas or Fort Worth and if you blink, you might miss this adorable town on the river. Its just at the junction of U.S. Highway 67 and State Highway 144 in central Somervell County.The town also has a cute town square, the Paluxy River, a bluegrass festival, farmer’s market, the Fossil Rim Wildlife Center, a pie shop (yahoo!!!) and one of our fave places to play around with the furbabies is Big Rocks Park in Glen Rose. https://wearedallasfortworth.com/adventure/big-rocks-park-glen-rose-texas/
