Is the Bible reliable? This message argues that because the Bible says so is not enough of a defense, and turns to evidence outside the text. 2 Timothy 3 frames Scripture as God-breathed and useful for teaching, correcting and training. The core case is threefold: textual dependability, with thousands of remarkably consistent manuscripts and the corroborating Dead Sea Scrolls; historical accuracy, with archaeology repeatedly confirming biblical sites and never overturning a reference; and fulfilled prophecy, including the messianic predictions about Jesus. The landing is relevance. A collection of sixty-six books by forty authors across centuries still speaks, the teaching insists, to debt, relationships, parenting, weakness and eternity, a love story of a God going to unimaginable lengths to be in relationship with us.
