Exploring Alternatives to eBay for Buying and Selling Sports Cards; Playing Overrated/Underrated with some High-End Cards

EPISODE 77 - Clark, Hyung, and John discuss off the top of this marathon episode, the recent news of eBay set to acquire TCGPlayer – one of the largest trading card marketplaces particularly for trading card games like Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Magic: The Gathering – for a reported $295 million.  In this week's Hobby Headlines, speaking of different marketplaces, they have a conversation about several alternatives to eBay where collectors could buy and sell their trading cards such as on online auction houses (ie. Goldin Auctions, PWCC Auctions), through various social media platforms, as well as via online forums.   Then they play another edition of "Overrated/Underrated" where for this episode, Clark names four specific high-end cards and they all say whether that card is currently overrated or underrated based on last sold prices. The cards featured in this segment include: Mike Trout 2009 Bowman Chrome prospects autograph card; Kevin Durant Topps Chrome Refractor rookie card; Alexander Ovechkin SP Authentic Future Watch autograph rookie card; and Josh Allen Panini Prizm Silver rookie card.
