Exploring The Power of Prayers (Part 2)!

Prayer is not funfair but a very serious warfare. If you're too lazy or too relaxed to pray, you just might be ceding control over your territory to enemy forces. Prayer is a tool of resistance against everything that is fighting against you to a standstill. Resist the devil and he'll flee (James 4:7). To resist is to stand firm against him; to stand up to him; to yell a loud no to him. This is why prayer is a spiritual warfare. Every war determines the weapon and strategy to engage, and as it is in the physical, so it is in the Spirit! Put up resistance against the devil until he flees. You can't justify your prayerlessness with excuses. Know the devil will not give up without a fight. Resist him even to the point of shedding your own blood (Heb.12: 4), unless your destiny is not worth fighting for. Raising a standard against the enemy (Isa. 59:19) is a responsibility you must enforce and actualize with prayer. Paul says, "The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ" (2 Cor. 10:4‭-‬5).
