Explosive testimony from GCIS Acting DG Phumla Williams at State Capture Inquiry

SAfm — Acting Director-General at the Government Communications and Information Systems (GCIS) Phumla Williams has told of how she was bullied and demoted by Minister Faith Muthambi while she was on leave. She is testifying at the State Capture Commission of Inquiry. She earlier told of how former head of GCIS Mzwanele Jimmy Manyi manipulated reporting structures so that employees in key roles could report to him directly. Williams received an sms during the tea break at the commission from Manyi saying she should say that he was not responsible for signing off on the controversial TNA/SABC Breakfasts.
